Nautical Tide and Time Clocks

We are often asked if our selection of nautical tide clocks   are accurate for all tidal regions such as the Pacific or Gulf tidal areas. Truthfully, almost all tide clocks are designed to predict only the Atlantic tide tables.

The Atlantic tide tables are very predictable and therefore the easiest to calibrate. On the other hand, Pacific tide tables are rather difficult to predict. Our selection of Weems & Plath nautical clocks and tide clocks are extremely well made and precise instruments. Although the tide clocks are based on the Atlantic tide tables, they can predict other tidal areas, however; they need to be adjusted more frequently. All Weems & Plath tide clocks come with easy to read instructions and their customer service center can help with any questions you may have.

We hope this information has been helpful and we invite you to view our complete Maritime Clock collection at AmericanMarineSupply.com  Whether you're looking for yourself or for that special mariner, our selection of nautical clocks and instruments make great nautical gifts and something that will be appreciated for many years.
